What This Blog is About

This blog was created to give cat owners a better idea of what type of toys and accessories they should decide on when they are rehoming a new kitten or a cat.

I will also look at various health issues that some cats can be impacted by. This will range from common issues like bad breathe to other more serious concerns  that could impact your cat's lifespan.

Many times new cat owners can rehome a cat or kitten and buy lots of amazing but expensive items from the pet store to ensure that the new home is the best for their new pet but many times these can be a waste of money.

I will look at the different accessories and toys on the market and will highlight the pros and cons on each of them. This does not mean that they are bad; it just means that you will have a better understanding if this is the item that you want to purchase for your kitten or cat.

However if you ask the rescue centre or the family you got the kitten from what it is that they most urgently need, most of the times they will say a bed, a litter tray and a food and water bowl.

Cat toys can come a little bit later and cat trees can be purchased once your pet has settled in at their new home.

The first job of any new cat parent is to make sure that the kitten or the cat feels comfortable in their new home, and then once they do, you can start looking at what items you should get for them. But remember sometimes less is more. In regards to your cats health, if you suspect something is wrong with your cat, always bring it to the vet. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Disclaimer: In this blog I will occasionally link to Amazon products that relate to the items that I talk about. If you purchase a product through this link I will earn a commission on the sale.

In this blog, you might occasionally see photos of my cats. I hope you find my articles interesting and don't forget to leave a comment if you find what I write about useful.
