Kitty Cat Stackable Cube

This kitty cat stackable cube comes in a single story cube and a double storey cube. You can also purchase an outside house. Each item is priced separately. The one story measures 16.5 inches W x 16.5inches L x 19.25 inches H while the double measured 32.5 inches L x 17 inches W x 36 inches H. The circle entrance is 9.5 inches in diameter.

Each cube is made from a sturdy plastic and hard cardboard. The platform area that holds the cat’s weights and the inside pad are all made from plastic while the rest is made from hard cardboard. The cushions are fleece and filled with polyfill and are washable. However the rest of the structure is not washable as it is covered in jersey material.  The walls can also collapse down which enables storage or transport.

Advantages

• Other animals like rabbits, rats, gerbils and ferrets can also play with this cube.
• You can clean it with a damp cloth.
• The cushions supplied for the top of the cube can be washed.
• The one story cube is 19.25 inches in height, so many cats will love that it is raised off the ground.
• It is very easy to assemble the cube.
• The cube has two entrances, one on the front and one on the back. This makes it very easy for your cat to get access in and out on each side of the cube.  
• To close one of the entrances, you can stack it against a wall.
• The inside is big enough to add a 16 inch cushion for your cat to curl up and sleep in.
• The color of the cube comes in a neutral grey so this color should match with most home aesthetics.

Disadvantages

• There are similar structures on the market that are sold at a cheaper price.
• Since some of the structure is made from hard cardboard it isn’t as sturdy as some owners might expect. Depending on how rough your pet is when playing with it, there is the likelihood that they could damage it.
• The pillows supplied with the cube can with usage end up becoming flat and lose their shape.
• If your cat soils the inside of the cube, you will have to dump it as it is impossible to clean.
• The fleece cushions are only supplied for the top of the cube, the cushion for inside is not filled with pollyfill. So an additional cushion might need to be purchased for the inside.
•  It is hard to clean as the material that is lining the walls of the structure are not removable and therefore cannot be washed in a washing machine
• If the material covering the structure rips, it is not fixable.
• This is only suitable for average size cats as the frame might collapse if your cat is a large cat.
• Since it collapses down, this can impact the stability of the structure.
• Over time the center of the structure can start to drop and lose its shape because of your cat's weight.
• The color of the cube might not be a color that everybody would like.
• Since the cube is so light, it is easy to move the cube from room to room.
