Most cats will either love being around humans or have no interest in the people in the household. If you are a cat owner that loves to spend time with your cat then the more attention that you give your cat, the more likely it is that it will return your attention.  If you are a cat owner that ignores your cat, then the most likely outcome is that they will ignore you to.

Stop Petting Me

If you rub your cat when it is lying on its belly or on its side and it starts putting its paw out to stop your hand from petting it, then it probably doesn’t want you to touch it anymore.

Cat Starts Kneading You

If your cat is lying up against you on the sofa or on your bed and it starts to knead you, then it is likely treating you like its mother. Kittens knead their mother’s tummy to increase the lactation of milk. So this is leftover behavior from their childhood. It’s a sign of affection.

Cat Paws at Me

This one really depends on where you are at the time. If you are in the kitchen then mostly likely your cat wants food. If you are in the living room and sitting on the sofa, then mostly likely they just want some petting or attention.

Cat Holds Your Wrist With Its Paws

Again this could relate to two things.  Your cat could be doing this because it either wants to rest its head against your warm hand or it might want to control where you go and keep you close to them.

Cat Sticks Its Claws Out

If you are teasing your cat and it begins to finds your behavior annoying then to stop you from continuing this behavior your cat will claw at you with its nails.

Cat Pulls At Your Jumper

This again relates back to getting your attention. If you were petting your cat and you suddenly stop petting them to do something else then they will get annoyed when you stop. To stop you from going away they will hold on you the sleeve of your jumper or cardigan to stop you leaving.
